Involving students from the 9th grade of Elementary School, the International Relations Club (CRI – Alfa) and Beta International Relations (BRI) propose to organize internal simulations of the UN committees (United Nations), as well as to coordinate efforts to participate in external simulations.
Developing diplomatic principles, learning to argue and perfecting rhetoric, our students organize simulations at school, participate in other schools, other cities, states and in the USA. In the proposed simulations, topics of global scope and relevance are addressed, from contemporary conflicts to international treaties and their violations. Simulation participants are responsible for representing a country and its position on a specific theme, and seek solution to the problem presented.
In 2020, five of our students traveled to Boston/ USA as representatives from Cameroon at one of the largest UN meeting simulation events, the Harvard MUN.
